Luciano
Matheron began his artistic endeavors through his experimental
theater work in Europe in the 1970s and continued doing so upon his
arrival in Madison, Wisconsin in 1981. He has lived in Madison since
then. He started filming using video in 1987. Since then he has, in
collaboration with educators, media professionals, artists, peace and
other social activists, as well as children and youth, created hundreds
of documentaries, news stories, artistic and experimental videos as
well as different for-hire projects (list available upon request). He
also has experience in conducting workshops, primarily for youth.
His videos have been shown and continue
to be shown on WYOU, Madison's Community Access TV station (non-commercial),
as well as on MAT A (WYOU's counterpart) in Milwaukee. He also contributed
to the "Gulf Crisis Project" produced by Deep Dish TV in New
York City that was aired internationally. Local mainstream media sometimes
uses his work.

Information
A 10-hour video production workshop
leading students in the production of a short (5-10 minute) video. The
project is site-specific and will be tailored to the particular needs,
interest and levels of the students that will be determined during the
free consultation.
